My wife Nicohle, who works in marketing, My daughter Perie is a sophomore at Open World Learning on the West Side, and my daughter Adeline is a junior at Two Rivers High School, We also have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 chickens.

I have taught at Dodge Nature Preschool, South St Paul Lincoln center elementary, and most recently at New Century School Elementary, although I have taken a leave of absence to run for this office.

I like to bike, and commute by bike most the year. I enjoy camping in the Boundary Waters with my family.  I enjoy reading and watching movies with my kids, and I love the Twins and Timberwolves.

All schools should be fully funded, and I support teachers’ unions. I think universal preschool will create an enormous advantage in our state by allowing parents to work full-time jobs and equalize educational opportunities among students. 

I support renters’ rights and would like to find solutions to the housing shortage in our neighborhood. My wife and I purchased our house using a Veterans Affairs loan, and I’d like to extend that program to working families from all backgrounds. 

I support holding corporations accountable for damage to the environment. This includes requiring private organizations to pass rigorous testing to prevent damage.  Unclean drinking water is a hazard to our homes. I am firmly against mining in the Boundary Waters. 

 I am against the privatization of healthcare and will work towards single payer universal healthcare.

I support the creation of a Department for Seniors within the government that manages and advocates for issues our seniors are dealing with now: taxation, transportation, and healthcare.

I see mass transit as a strong tool for job growth and housing stability in our district.
